Alistair Harbrow

Leading teams through often challenging environments, and within a diverse range of private and public sector organisations, Alistair has just about seen it all over the last 25 years.
As a full member of the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply [MCIPS], and with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration [MBA], he has the credentials.
As important as the qualifications is the experience. Having worked for a wide range of industries and organisations, including local government, electrical utility network contracting, importing and distribution, and fast moving consumer goods, he has a considerable vault of knowledge to draw from.
His career has provided great challenges and resounding success. Working as Head of Procurement and Contracts for Christchurch City Council in the post-earthquake recovery of the city was, at the time, arguably one of the most challenging roles of its kind in New Zealand. This experience proved invaluable when he formed Progression Group.
Since then Alistair and Progression Group have worked with companies and organisations on a range of projects throughout New Zealand. His work providing innovative, pragmatic and insightful strategy have ensured these clients can progress with confidence.
